Objective:
To create a safe, supportive, and confidential space where men can discuss mental health issues, share experiences, and learn effective coping strategies, guided by a qualified and accredited psychotherapist.
Target Audience:
Men 20-45 interested in improving their mental health, whether dealing with specific challenges or seeking general support.
Platform:
Online video conferencing via Zoom or Google Meet. One hour sessions.

Weekly Session Overview
Week 1: Introduction and Building Trust
- Establishing a safe environment, setting group guidelines, and introducing participants.
- Discussion on common mental health challenges men face, led by the therapist.
Week 2: Managing Stress and Anxiety
- Identifying stressors and learning therapist-guided coping mechanisms.
- Group sharing and commitment to new stress management strategies.
Week 3: Emotional Awareness and Expression
- Enhancing emotional awareness and challenging stigma around male emotional expression.
- Mindfulness or journaling exercise to explore emotions, with therapist feedback.
Week 4: Building Resilience and Future Planning
- Discussing strategies for long-term mental health and resilience.
- Participants create personal action plans and share key takeaways.
Follow-Up and Support
- Optional Monthly Check-In: Maintain connection and receive ongoing support.
- Individual Therapy Referrals: Access to further individual support if needed.
